Weber Q100 Review - Is The Q100 Really A Good Buy?

Welcome to the Weber q100 review. This gas grill offers great grilling power, as well as portability, at a good price. The q100 is perfect for home use as well as outdoor use like camping, tailgating and beach parties. It is well designed, is very efficient, and uses less propane then other gas grills thanks to its low BTU rating (who said more was better?)

After using the Weber q100 for a few months, I can honestly say that it was a good purchase. I ordered it from Amazon and was able to put it together in about 5 minutes thanks to the detailed instructions that Weber provides. You don't even need any tools to put it together, although it may help to have a screwdriver handy.

The electronic ignition makes firing up the grill really easy and it always starts on the first try for me. The adjustable flame is nice to and you can control the temperature pretty good with it. The only thing that I don't like is that it does not come with a thermometer built in to the lid so you can monitor the temp like the Weber q120 grill does.

Weber q100 review The Weber q100 has a lot of grilling power for such a small grill. It gets nice and hot quick and can easily sear and cook a 1.5 inch thick rib eye steak among other things. You don't have to worry about flair-ups with this grill because Weber designed it so that the grease is directed away from the flames and into a removable catch pan.

The cast iron grill grate is a little on the heavy side, but it does a great job at getting hot fast and staying hot while grilling. This is a big thing because you want to have a nice hot surface to cook on and thanks to the porcelain enamel coating, you don't have to worry about it rusting out and it is easy to clean after a hard night of grilling. The surface of the grill is about 189 square inches which is plenty big to cook for an individual as well as a few friends or family members.

Weber q100 review The grill itself is powered by either a 14.5 oz or a 16.4 oz propane cylinder which you can find at your local hardware store, or any camping supply store. They last a while to so you can get a lot of grilling done on just one tank of fuel. If you want to use the q100 at home, you can get an adapter to connect a 20lb LP tank to this grill and if you use the q100 grill cart, you can transform this grill into a stationary grill that you can keep on your porch.

Who Is The Q100 For?
This grill is for anyone who needs a small grill that is both portable and can still be used at home. Campers, apartment dwellers, and tailgaters alike will appreciate the portability of this grill. It is also great for people who need a good grill but don’t have a lot of room to put it.
